Oooh okay I didn't realise that, he did a really impressive American accent in that case! And I don't have anything against him as an actor, he just seemed so kind of square-headed and beefy compared to what I was expecting. The whole contrast between Sam as the skinny slightly nerdy guy more used to sitting behind computers and shuffling paperwork, and Gene being the action hero who was best at kicking ass. From what I remember (it has been a while now since I've seen it) the trailer presented Sam as kind of an action hero as well, so it just came off as so completely wrong to me *g*
