Much like Smallville, I kinda feel like Lost suffers from writers who pay way too much attention to the internet audience. The consequence is that the popular characters get more storylines while the main yet somewhat unpopular characters (Jack, Kate) are put in thankless and someone stupid plots which is a shame.

As a Lana/Kristin fan I can sympathize a lot... :/
