Ooh, what are you looking for? B/K perchance, or a bit of everything?

Gemma used to be a BNF for fanfic in Oz, and her page is here (http://strangeplaces.net/gemma/oz.html) All her stuff is good, albeit in an unusual style.

Another good one (http://www.unitb.slashcity.net/archive/1/covenant.html)

The archive I used to visit back in 1999 is now defunct, but I liked it so much, I er..use the wayback machine to read the fanfic. All the best authors in one place!

Go here (http://web.archive.org/web/20010603162716/emcity.slashcity.net/emcityindex2.html) and look by character or if that doesn't work, go to [http://web.archive.org] and put this [http://emcity.slashcity.net/] in the web page device, and follow the trail. Recommending especially Alexa, Kristin, Shug, stina, and Sessile for Beecher or B/K. A lot of the pages still work, and it's a good way to see what was stirring up the fandom at that time, and get some author names to search for. In fact, you could look at some of the Smallville big gun writers like Te, 'cos some wrote a few Oz pieces.

...

Er. it's possible not everyone goes through this much work for fanfic. I may have issues *creeps away*

B/K fic is mainly what I'm looking for.

And it's definitely not just you that reads a lot of fic. I have read so much fan fic for Buffy and Smallville it's scary. I just never found much for Oz.

Thank you for the links!

*cough* I perhaps should have posted this first (http://www.livejournal.com/tools/memories.bml?user=crack_van&keyword=Oz+Fanfic+Recs&filter=all). And this (http://www.livejournal.com/community/crack_van/33154.html)

*promises to creep away properly this time*

All excellent choices...

If you have trouble getting to Em City, which is the link [livejournal.com profile] hazywizard gave you more than one way to get to, you might try this link : . I think it's a more direct route to the one she's suggesting. Somebody on Twisted Sisterhood pointed that one out to me. Just beware...Em City hasn't been updated in about 4 years, so if you start a series, you may run up against a dead link in the middle. That happened to me a few times. Sometimes you can go around it to the next chapter, which is frustrating, but usually tolerable. But sometimes you just end up with nowhere to go, and have to quit the story in the middle. It's worth checking out, though, there are some excellent fic there.

Here's a link to [livejournal.com profile] tobyfan's links page: There are tons of fic there, just go to the links to fanfic, about half the page down.

, which [livejournal.com profile] hazywizard also mentioned is run by [livejournal.com profile] rowanfairchild and is still accepting new fic. I'm not sure if still accepts new stuff or not, but it's a very big archive also.

There's a lj community called [livejournal.com profile] hardtime100 which has 100 word drabble challenges weekly or bi-weekly, and monthly flashfic challenges that are longer in length. Those are well worth checking out in the memories...there's some good stuff there.

And definitely check out those [livejournal.com profile] crack_van memories, those would be an excellent place to start.

If you have specific pairings in mind, let me know, and I can point you to some more specific fic. There's a lot of it out there...and much of it is very high quality...slash, gen and even het. Enjoy your reading.

huh? What happened?

Uh, something weird happened here. The community I was trying to tell you about was [livejournal.com profile] hardtime100, and I mentioned there were a lot of drabbles, but also longer flashfic that are very well done. And recently very funny, as the last challenge was to come up with a truly outrageous story line...like a few that Tom Fontana (Oz guru) came up with over the years. So you can find werewolfs and zombies in the last month or so. check out the memories!
