Date: 2017-01-19 11:31 am (UTC)I like Buffy because of how heroic she is, how she's always trying to do the right thing and putting everyone else first
I dislike Buffy because sometimes she does have a tendency to be self-righteous
Favourite season is tough to narrow down, but I'd say probably season 5? Or season 2 maybe? It's hard to narrow that one down!
Ditto on favourite episode. I can't go with just one I don't think lol, Prophecy Girl, Becoming and Chosen are the first that come to mind
Hmm favourite line is maybe, 'She saved the world. A lot.' That pretty much sums up her character I'd say!
One of the Buffy outfits that always really stands out is her blue coat from Becoming, love love love the visual there when she comes running in. But really she wears some great clothes in every season pretty much, I also love the red leather pants from Graduation Day
And I'm sure it won't shock anyone when I say that Spufffy are my OTP
I'm not sure if this is the right answer for Brotp, but I think I'd say Faith actually. I really loved that whole dynamic between them, and the actresses had great chemistry
Not sure if this is still an unpopular opinion or not, but I thought they handled Buffy's depression arc in season 6 really well, well other than attempting to wrap it up too quickly in the end anyway. But I really related to how much Buffy struggled with being an ~adult~ in her early 20's, how she trying to find the right job when she didn't have a clue what she wanted to do, and I thought there were some great episodes in that time
Not character related exactly, but I guess my wish would be that we get to see Buffy in HD (done properly) for the 20th anniversary coming up
A Buffy/Xander pairing should never EVER happen :P
Will Graham
Date: 2017-01-19 11:52 am (UTC)I dislike Will because of how he set Chilton up, that was tough to watch
Erm I'm not sure which my favourite season would be for Will actually, I guess that he was the most interesting to me in season 3 when they took him to a darker place with Hannibal? Also season 2 though when he was torn between his bond with Hannibal, and doing the right thing (and wanting to kill Hannibal in the beginning/fearing that he was becoming Hannibal).. And then season 1 when he's dealing with his guilt over killing Abigail's father, and slowly going insane because of his brain disease (the name of which I forget right now). Basically I love him in every season, they always had a lot of interesting character stuff for him
I can't really think of a favourite episode at the moment, it's been a while since I've seen them all, I'm due for a complete series re-watch this year. Right now I'd say probably the series 3 finale is the one that sticks out in my mind for his character, although I'm not sure that that's the most flattering portrayal of him lol
Favourite line is, 'Is Hannibal in love with me?' :P
Honestly I never really notice Will's outfit, so I'm just gonna say the straight jacket and biting mask scene was the most memorable visual for him there
Do you even have to ask who my OTP are? :P
My Brotp are also Will/Hannibal
I'm not sure if this is an unpopular opinion, but I disagree with a lot of the assumptions being made after the finale. It seemed like a lot of people jumped to the belief that the show was setting up ~murder husbands~, and that Will and Hannibal were going to kill Belinda together, but I didn't get that from it at all? Will appreciated the beauty in killing the red dragon, aka a serial killer, but I never felt like that meant that he was going to start killing indiscriminately with Hannibal
My wish would be for another season or a mini-series, and that it's focused entirely on Will and Hannibal's story. Recently I've been hearing whispers that Bryan Fuller is interested in doing his version of SotL, but honestly I feel like we've already seen that. This also falls under unpopular opinion I guess, but while I did think that the Red Dragon storyline was well-done, that was one part of the show that didn't excite me because I'd already seen so many of the story beats in the film. I'm more invested in the show as a prequel, and seeing them do something new with Hannibal and Will's relationship. It's not as interesting for me to go over ground that's already been covered before
I don't want Will to start butchering innocent people with Hannibal. It's an interesting idea for fan fic maybe, but canon Will Graham would never
