the character i least understand: Ianto's character was all over the place in the beginning, Fragments cleared a lot of it up of course, but his season 1 relationship with Jack was very confusing to understand without that background

Tosh's death was very powerful. "Because you're breaking my heart", and then dying in Jack's arms.

Did you leave "a death that left me indifferent:" blank on purpose?

That was me not being able to think of a death that left me indifferent :P They were all pretty sad from what I remember, I didn't care for Owen's character, but he did have a very moving death scene still. Oh I guess that I could say Jack's death in the season 1 finale actually! That one was a bit over the top, and we all knew that he was coming back anyway, so I wasn't exactly shedding any tears over that death
