‘Veronica Mars Revival Set for July Premiere at Hulu — Watch Teaser”
Your summer vacation will officially take place in Neptune, California: Hulu’s eight-episode revival of Veronica Mars will drop on Friday, July 26, the streaming service announced Friday. TVLine has confirmed that all eight installments will be released at once.
In addition to revealing the premiere date, Hulu also dropped a short teaser for the new episodes (embedded above), in which Kristen Bell’s titular sleuth prepares for spring break in Neptune — and all of the unsavory sights that come with it.
As previously reported, Hulu’s limited-run revival — which is set five years after the events of the 2014 feature film — will focus on a new mystery as Mars Investigations is hired to look into the murder of a student on spring break.
Awesome!!! Having all eight episodes drop at once was just what I was hoping for, and July isn’t so far away at all :D :D :D
My only slight grumble is that it’s a bit worrying that there haven’t been any plans mentioned for the international fans. Not to sound overtly demanding lol, but a ton of fans in other countries did help towards funding the movie as well, and so it seems a bit mean to now make this new tv series US only. I will find other ways of watching it regardless of course :ahem:, but still it’s a shame that there’s been no official alternative way offered as yet for the international fans to watch and support the show, or even assurances that we haven’t been forgotten

Date: 2019-04-14 09:15 pm (UTC)We’ve had Netflix here in the U.K. since 2012, and yet with Hulu all we ever hear is that eventually it will expand internationally, but we’re still waiting. When Disney brought shares in it it was supposedly coming to the U.K. this year even, and yet still nothing. It’s just silly in this day and age. I know that licensing is an issue and other countries wouldn’t have all the shows that the US gets, but they have build up a lot of very popular original content at this point like The Handmaids Tale, Runaways, Castle Rock etc (and now VM obviously) that people would still be interested in seeing. I mean it certainly sounds like Apple plan to launch a streaming service with just their own fairly limited content on it, so I don’t know what Hulu is waiting for
