so it seemed that we were meant to believe that we had lost the real Lex in season 8 before Clark even became Superman.
That seems so crazy. Why would they do that? I guess they had spent so much on Lex studying Clark, the only to fix that would be for his memory to be wiped. Their relationship was really the focus of the show, though. Lex leaving was the whole reason I stopped watching.
