I don't watch GG or anything, but I was curious and found the scene in the comments and oh, no. There is nothing abusive about that. Not even a little bit. Now I'm off to watch my favorite romantic comedy, A Streetcar Named Desire. That Stanley! What a dreamboat!

(BTW, my favorite part of that ONTD post was two people I don't even know in fandom calling MLV psycho in the comments. I love feeling validated)

And it wasn't just that last scene, he was so disgusting earlier in the episode when he crashed the party to degrade Blair and talk about eating "her cake" to the family of Blair's current boyfriend that Blair was trying to make a good impression on. He is repulsive, he completely humiliated Blair and he was grabbing her hand and trying to force a ring on to her finger in that scene

Oh she's always trolling GG posts now. Someone said that she doesn't even watch the show when she makes out she ships Chuck and Blair, she just keeps coming into the posts and posting them because one of the Dair posters upset her by trashing Smallville or something :eyeroll:

I'd recently thought of watching GG with summer coming as so many people on my f-list watch and I trust their judgment, but it sounds like a bad bet if this is how it plays out. That post had pages of comments and all pretty disgusted.

I will say that season 1 was a very good season and worth watching, but other than that the show is kind of all over the place. So many people have said that it's like the Dan and Blair scenes exist in a different show the the rest of it, and that is so true. There is a Dair YouTube channel that is good to follow for just their isolated scenes, but the show itself has been just awful lately
