Yeah I think her new hairstyle has really helped her take a step away from the Lana role as she does look so different and more mature. Urgh they gave her a wig/some kind weird extensions when she did return for season 8, instead of actually having Lana Lang with *gasp* short hair*

I've always thought the Clana would have been better if they weren't so stuck on pushing it as on/off, and more off than anything else. The one time I did like them was when they were a couple in early season 5, I thought they were very cute in Mortal and Hidden, but then that period lasted such a short time

To be brutally honest though I also think that TW and KK were too inexperienced as actors in the early seasons to quite carry it off because I can see what Al meant when he was talking about Clana being very dull as a couple in late season 2 when they were together and having picnics, whereas I thought they really did work (however briefly) in season 5 as a couple so maybe TW and KK just needed time to get into their stride *shrugs* In the dailies for the Pilot I noticed that Kristin looked pretty uncomfortable after the kiss with Tom Welling (the dream kiss on the football field), and they were kind of stiff together in the Exodus picnic, so that could also have been a factor. But then having said that, they did have a lot of chemistry in the Red kiss and in Relic flashbacks, so I don't know. It was probably the repetitive scenes and writing hurting Clana more than anything else, and then by the time of season 6 they were both much better at acting out the longing than they were in seasons 1-3 time.

she's sooo cute! I love Chuck and I was so excited when I heard she was going to be on it. It'll be a good one. I'm happy that she's getting a role on a bigger show, even if it's just a guest spot.

Im loving all the positive reviews for the episode so far and all highlighting Kristin's performance in particular. lol@ the internet going back to liking her overnight. Chuck has always done a good job at handling guest stars and Brandon and her so far are no different. I hope they dont mess it up on her next 2 apperances.

People really need to get into Chuck, its what Genre tv should be: A fun mix of action, comedy, detailed and developed self-mythology and a cast that enjoys being there. The show is really making the leap this year.
