I was fascinated to learn that, in the comic books, Lex and Chloe were a 'ship.
Impossible, as Chloe was never around in the comics. (Unless one subscribes to the Chlois Theory - given that Chloe is taken pretty much wholesale from the Lois Lane arc in World of Metropolis. And even then, Lex and that Lois were not a ship.)
told me that he stopped watching because he thought Lois looked considerably older than Clark, and he just couldn't buy them together.
Interesting; I know plenty of people who ship Chlark (or are Chloiser and ship 'Clois' that way by default) in part because they reject EDLo as a viable option [either as a LI or as Lois herself]; it's always interesting to hear another take on it from outside the fannish realm.
