Like a sneaky, sneaky girl, I voted for Kennedy and Riley. I had more time to hate Riley, though. I was actually warming up to him for awhile until he caught the It's All About Me virus as Joyce was dying. That's inexcusable. What a prick.

I don't like Faith: there, I've said it. I actually hate her for even daring to steal Buffy's glory. I'm a Buffy girl, what can I say? :D

Then, Tara doesn't interest me that much, Riley had to go because he had Buffy and Spike wanted her, and Kennedy was just... stupid. And hate-worthy.

Tara was good, and kind, and sweet, and BORING. Which is the only thing worse to me than annoying (else I would've voted for Dawn). Mean old me was so relieved when they killed her.

Tara was a great character who was killed off just to give a flashy story to a crappy character who should have been killed in the first season (Willow). Dawn was great -hilarious and deeply human.

Heh- I voted for Riley and Kennedy as well. Riley I mostly found boring, but Kennedy really bugged me.

Oddly- I too found Tara a bit boring, but I still liked her. She just seemed like a nice, stable, caring person. So I figure there has to be more than 'bored now' to my dislike of Riley. Can't really pin down what it is, but it's there.

Tara was a kind of boring character, but the actress was good; Riley was a boring character played by a bad actor.

Tara was great. Amber Benson turned her into a full humam being and a surprisingly plausible portrayal of a really decent person. Benson was one of the best actors on the show (she's also a friend of JM, btw). Though it wasn't until Tara got away from Willow that Tara got to fully develop. Older and Far Away is her best ep.

Tara was one of the most genuinely human characters on the show.

I voted Kennedy because she's annoying and a shark--unless rachelmap is writing her, then she's tolerable and even interesting. It breaks my heart that you hate Riley, but I hope we can still be friends *sniff*

How can I not hate Riley! He made Buffy feel bad for her strength. He cheated on her when her mother was dyingm because she couldn't be the helpless female and let him take care of her. He belonged to an organisation like the initiative, where they kept sentient beings in cages to experiment on. He was smug and self-satisfied in AYW!

I am one of the few who will choose Willow. She always, always, always, always bugged me. It was the actress more than the character. Had someone else played her, I'd probably have liked her. But that dumb-sounding halting speech thing always makes me insane. I'd have liked the entire show so much more if Willow were played by someone else entirely, I think.

I don't think you're as alone as you think. Most people liked high school Willow granted, but a lot of viewers have expressed irritation at the babytalk thing. And in season 7 saying that she needs to take a decongestant. For a lot of people Willow's cutesy behaviour ceased to appeal once high school was over

I voted for Kennedy because you told me to she was really creepy. I didn't find it believable that Willow would be attracetd to someone that creepy. Riley is my next least favorite, but he was only boring, not creepy.

I don't particularly care for Kennedy, but I had to vote for Riley. At least Kennedy didn't take the shreds of Buffy's self-esteem and crush them beneath her boot heel the way Riley did. And at least Kennedy never told Buffy that she smelled bad.:)

I voted for Willow because AH annoys the fuck out of me, Riley because he's everything I hate in a man - condescending, patronizing, and insecure - and Xander for all the times he made Buffy feel like shit. Whew, it's nice to get that off my chest! :)

I can't stand Willow and I dislike Hannigan's acting too. I dislike self-righteous self-indulgent Xander plenty too. But as for Riley... him acting like an asshole and eejit always struck me as being from stupidity rather than from being an actual bad guy. I don't dislike the guy, I just find him boring. I actually feel kinda sorry for him being so dumb.

Wow, hard to pick! There's Xander, Willow, Angel, Anya, Faith and Andrew. But the last three are worse than the first three, so that narrows it down to Anya, Faith and Andrew. And Anya plagued the show for four whole seasons as a regular, so that makes her a worse problem than Faith or Andrew. So Anya it is then.

My personal "I have deep loathing and this character frustrates the hell out of me" vote goes for Dawn, who I have, I think, the singular honor of hating from her very first episode. My "completely useless character who wasn't even interesting enough to annoy me played by an actor so terrible I spent most of her scenes flinching" vote goes to Tara. So very, very bad.
