I ended up making another Smallville video after all! It's Lex/Jason primarily, and it's inspired by the awesome fic of khohen1

The video's looking at Lex and Jason, with the premise that deep down they're the same.

I absolutely love it. The parallels you drew between Jason and Lex and their icky, incestuous parents were spot on. The ending was also perfect--with the final "salvation" ending on the Jex hug. Great job!

Well I try *g* The clex kind of died for me on-screen in season 4, and I think I prefered Lex/Jason...

Clex is what I prefer in fandom, but on-screen I think Jason/Lex were hotter in season 4

And now apparently there's a deleted scene from Scare where Lex dreams about marrying his mother and being rejected by her! Need I say more? ;) Lex/Jason, it just boggles me that it hasn't caught on! Lex is paired with screwed up people like Bruce and Lucas, but so little love for Jason :/

Oh my god! I was led here by Kho and I'm just blown away. I'm not too involved in the fandom, but I am always intrigued when people create fiction or videos with other pairings. I need to take a look and check it out and with your video, I was so glad that I did.

I find Jason dull at first, but then I loved when we started to get hints of how twisted him and his Mum were. I could not care less about football coach/nice bf for Lana.

I wish they had done more with his similarities to Lex, I really enjoyed their scenes in season 4.

I admit that for the life of me, I do not remember where I downloaded this video. Hopefully it was here.

I am a music video junkie. Being recently into SV (Only a few months) I began making up for lost time by downloading several SVMV's a day.

The problem with that is, so many SV video's are... to be blunt, horrible. Some are rather bad, but ultimately endearing. So I began to download video's directly into a file called 'Pending'. There they would sit for a few days before being watched again. If I still couldn't decide, in pending they'd stay. A few would ultimately graduate into the prestigious 'Smallville' folder, but sadly, not many.

"Make Me Bad" did not spend any time in pending. Not only did it set up a permanent home (Full paid scholarship!) in the Smallville folder, it also didn't stop playing on my computer for hours!

I don't even like Korn, but I still find myself humming the song. The comparison is so neatly drawn as to make me view both the characters and the song in a new light.

Most SV vids, even the comparatively good ones, loose steam towards the end. Not MMB. Everything seemed to build to that last moment.

You are awesome. Never doubt the awesomeness of you.

Oh wow, thank you *blushes madly* I loved Lex/Jason, they replaced my Clex love in season 4. I shipped Clex again as their whole enemies thing in season 5, but the UST was really missing for me in season 4. And I thought Lex/Jason had such a fascinating dynamic, if the writers would be willing to explore it more.
