Well today's sucked. I've had really painful stomach cramps all day. I took paracetamol, codeine, ibuprofen, and none of them worked. So I spend most of the day curled up in bed with a hot water bottle.

Be careful girl!! And are they girly cramps or digestion cramps? Either sucks, and you have my sympathies. A cup of warm tea works for me sometimes....

Girly ones. I took the paracetamol first and no effect. Then the ibuprofen, still nothing.

I was a bit naughty actually. I had already taken two paracetamol recently when I took co-codemol. I didn't have any codeine by itself so I chanced it.

I'm okay now but for hours I was waiting for the drugs to do their thing and nothing.

Ahh! Be careful!! I don't get cramps much anymore, but Midol used to work for me. I don't keep any around, so it's usually just ibuprofen now. But the hot water bottle and a little R&R usually does wonders. Or if you can get yourself engrossed in a show or something. But then again, sometimes the pain is so weird and intense, noise and distraction just makes it worse....or maybe it's just me!
