It does sound a bit similar, and No Tomorrow was actually cancelled just recently, so I wonder how Life Sentence will do for them? It doesn't sound like it has the potential of being a break-out hit, more that it will be another of those kind of quirky shows like My Crazy Ex Girlfriend that have a really small but loyal audience, but the CW does seem to like shows like that I guess
