Lol he was some financial guy who was hired by the courts in season 4 to look into L&G's books or something when the firm was facing problems? I remember everyone being very defensive about him, but then it turned out that he was on their side after all, and he was also really interested in the law and asking for Carey's help with becoming a lawyer. Then he joined up with F&A in season 5, only to completely disappear by season 6...
I'm not sure if they're going to bring Robyn back or not at this point, it would probably have made more sense to just write the character off and throw in an explanation that she had to leave for another job or something, it will be a little bit odd if she suddenly just pops up in an episode again with no mention of her being off-screen for an entire year. It certainly wouldn't be unwelcome if she did ever come back though, but I think at this point they will need some kind of explanation for where she's been
