The base under siege thing is normally not my thing, but I thought they kinda turned it on its head. Obstructionist corporate guy died right away. The question of "why stay?" was addressed in a nuanced manner. There was a deaf character played by a deaf actress. (That last one has nothing to do with base-under-siege plots, I just really liked that they did that.) It had genuinely creepy moments. So I enjoyed it.
