I'll be disappointed, too, though I don't think they'd bring it up again just to drop it. I hope. I think a lot of Walt's issues regarding the charity boil down to whatever happened with Gretchen. He seemed genuinely friendly with Eliot, but with Gretchen he always seemed to be faking it.
They can be a little longer because AMC has less commercials, but they still have to turn it in at an exact time. It's not on premium cable like HBO or Showtime.
