People who hate reminded me of the KKK and the majority of these haters happen to be Chloisers, Chlarkers, etc

A sense of perspective. Get one

It's sad, but I think this lack of perspective has been building for a while now as Chlois fans get more and more demonized in this fandom. You'd think this wank might actually make some people take a step back and realise that wow, it's not all that cool to express hate for real people over a television show, and not even a particularly good one at that. It wouldn't be so disappointing if it were just one person likening the Chloe fans who dislike Lois to the KKK, but there were many others laughing and rooting her on, and there are still people now talking about how apt the comparison was.

When anyone gets to the point when they are hating on real people, I really think it's time to take a step back and consider what is so outrageous about someone having a different view on two fictional characters roles in the story, or why someone believing that Allison Mack is a bad actress is somehow personally offensive to you. It's fine to call out any extremist who's going to call an actress names that are actually offensive, but that doesn't mean you should hate an entire group of people for their opinions on fiction, and then pull the "Oh you know I didn't mean you/you're not like the rest of them" when you get called on it. Like it's fine to hate a entire group of people just because of their ship or theory? People will still persist in believing what they want to believe I guess, but the Chlois fans I talk with sure don't sit around talking about what a whore Erica Durance is (although I can't speak on what's said about TWoP as I don't go there and have no clue if there's any justification in those claims or not). But really no one needs to feel insulted or hurt at someone not liking Lois, and you sure as hell don't need to compare your oppressors to the KKK because of characters that aren't even real.

All I ask for is that people don't start hating anyone until they actually call an actress offensive names, or they've had a bad experience with the fan in question. Don't group anyone together and hate them on sight just because of their views on fictional characters.
