I don't get why it was a bigger deal for Jenny to lie about how far she had gone with her boyfriend, than it was for her to lie and steal a very expensive dress from her friends mother, yet they put that behind them? And I'm not sure why Blair is so desperate to win those girls back anyway. I understand that she wants to be Queen B, but is it really her idea of fun to hang out with such nonentities? Especially after how rude they were in 113. I wish that Blair wasn't fighting to get back in their good graces, but instead plotting revenge on them or something. I loved Blair marching into that party, only getting revenge on Jenny after Eric ok'd it, and then her final confrontation with Jenny. Could Blair be any more awesome?! She is too good to hang out with those girls by far.
And I enjoyed seeing Jenny's downfall. I don't hate Jenny, but I think she was being very overambitious in expecting to take over Blair's place when she is only a Freshman! She needs to work her way up a little bit. And whereas Blair is always loyal to her friends and loved ones, Jenny showed a nasty streak with Dan (she disses his pants!!!), and she never spoke up for her friend Eric when he was insulted at the party, so I think that it's definitely best for her to take a step back from that lifestyle for the moment. She was becoming too desperate to claw her way to the top too fast, and it was turning her into a horrible person. Her making up with Rufus at the end was so sweet
And aww, I love Eric! I just wish that we could have seen him turning to Chuck for advice because that was too perfect. I'm not totally sure about Chuck looking out for Serena quite as much as he had been though. I do really like that dynamic, but I'm not sure how much sense it makes. The show always presented it as Chuck/Nate/Blair being friends sure, but Selena never seemed to have much time for Chuck. I suppose I don't totally buy Chuck suddenly now being so helpful (well in a Chuck kind of way). Even calling Serena up out of concern for her! It is nice to see this side of him though.
And I died at that ending with Serena and Blair. Just died. It's killing me that not even the spoiler sources know what the actual secret is. I must know!
And my current thoughts on shipping when it comes to this show

Yes I have been reading Chuck/Nate fic, and finding that pairing surprisingly hot :P How can you not love, "I care about three things Nathaniel. Money, the pleasures money brings me, and you". And Nate sleeping on the couch whilst Chuck has sex! Just Chuck calling Nate "Nathaniel" is adorable hee.
But I also love love love Chuck/Blair on the show, so I definitely think that threesome is the way to go :nods: I've been kind of surprised/disappointed at the little time that was spend on Chuck/Blair though. Don't get me wrong, the limo sex was awesome and absolutely no complaints there!! But then C/B got together on Blair's birthday, and instead of the show spending time on a dirty little affair, it was over before it even began and they only ever kissed one more time :/ The affair seemed to mostly go on off-screen, although I do have hopes that Chuck/Blair will eventually be endgame.
Damnit I just want them to interact again (Chuck/Nate and Chuck/Blair), it's been three episodes now! I enjoy Chuck helping out Serena, and the hints of an off-screen bond with Eric, but I think he deserves his own storyline too! I am enjoying Georgina and the spec on the secret, but I think they could spread the story focus around a little more
And squee, preview clip for 117!
I WANT TO KNOW THE SECRET MORE THAN EVER NOW
