I never felt that George was tempted to go there. She seemed to see Mason more as the loveable brother to me In the first season, to me, at least when they initially met, George seemed enamored of Mason. And in an interview that season Callum even thought they may go there with George and Mason, then in the second season he and Ellen both realized it wasn't going to happen.
