Yes, I didn't hate season 2, so much as feel uncomfortable with it overall, and where they were going. There were individual stories I liked still, it just all felt a bit ruined when I didn't love the Doctor and Rose as much, not to mention Jack being missing.
I'm sure I will buy the boxset still, and find that it grows on me *g*
