Since being off-line I've realised I spend a lot of time on LJ, and I kind of feel the need to cut my flist. But I can't decide who to cut, I love you all *wails* I probably will just leave it because of all the hard decision-making.

And I am starting to really ship Clark/Chloe. I can't help it! They look so pretty together... During season 2 I totally lost interest in that couple because I just couldn't see that it would go anywhere when Clark was so clearly not attracted. But since season 4 Chloe has just been the most important and lovely person in his life. He couldn't do better than Chloe. I'm so glad they let her find out the secret. I think I will cry at him ending up marrying SV's feeble attempt at Lois Lane.

And wow Allison looks absolutely gorgeous with longer hair.

I know there's only like a chance in a million of her ending up being Lois Lane by pen name or something, now they're introduced the "real" Lois *sigh* I just know the series will end with Chloe either dead or insane :/

YAY, I thought about that, too. What if something happened to Lois, and Chloe took her name? (Because the real LOIS LANE isn't like LOIS, she's like CHLOE)

*nods madly* SV's Lois isn't even interested in journalism. At the beginning of the series Chloe was set up as the early version of Lois Lane, then they got permission to actually use the Lois name for a character and we get this awful Lois.

How many SV episodes have you watched now then? Season 5 is shaping up to be so much better than season 4 ever was. God even the Clana is actually somewhat cute for a change

I've just watched this season, (all episodes) and it's not that bad. My daughter use to watch it, and I've seen bits and pieces. (also it came on before Angel in season five)

I also like Chloe. She is so sweet but let's face it, Clark is never going to wisen up is he! I just hope that she doesn't die. I keep getting the feeling that they might kill her off.

I haven't seen S4 yet, but I really wasn't impressed by Lois. I mean, she's obviously better than Lana but how anyone could want to hang out with either self-absorbed madam when Chloe's around is beyond me!

In Krypto she had just moved in with them, and she was using all the hot water, had taken over Clark's bedroom, and wiped their answer machine message and added her own. Is that supposed to be cute???

They are so Lois&Clark it's sick...and the funny part is that Clark will be the one pining in the future. Even now, it's obvious that she's so over her crush while still being there as a friend.

I know, right! Don't even get me started on how Lois herself lives in Smallville, her cousin has lived there for years, and she calls Clark "Smallville" What the hell sense does that make???

She's always bitching about Clark and how can Lana stand to be around him, all while he opened his house to her and she is still living there while giving him a hard time.

She really is. I avoid most Chloe fic because fandom tends to make a Mary Sue of her more often than not, but on the show itself she is sooo cute :D

Well I know I don't comment much (sorry!), but I'm here to correct that :) I used to not like Chloe - she actually got on my nerves with her obsessive detective work and meddling, but I must admit she looks fantastic lately. Although I actually liked Lana and Clark in the beginning, they played it out too long, and sometimes when Chloe is in the scene, it just seems like she should be with him. Anyone but Lois! - she looks a lot older in my opinion. And my friend and I were commenting that Chloe would make a pretty awesome version of Veronica Mars.

I just feel bad that I still haven't even attempted to catch up on the flist, and haven't been commenting at all. Well not that I was a stellar commentator before :p

I liked Clana all right in season 1, and they always had their nice moments. E.g the ending of Craving when watching the bugs bunny cartoon, the kiss in Red, the swimming in Slumber. But so much of it was redundant and dragged out with those terrible loft scenes. Season 3 was awful in that respect. But season 5 has actually had fairly cute clana so far. Now if they can just avoid the angst and secret and lies talks!


I agree about Lois looking old, I cannot believe they try and pass her off as 19. Try a mature looking 30!

I've always suspected the series will wind up with Chloe having a nasty end. I just am not sure that they would kill her off halfway through season 5 or something, which is why I'm leaning towards her not dying this season. I mean they were planning to turn her darker in late season 2, and backed out of that one really fast when they finally woke up to what a fan favourite she is.

It's kind of like Spike's death in Chosen being a good piece of drama, but would they have really been brave enough to kill him halfway through the final season and watched fans kick up a fuss? The characters that are killed off during the programs run are usually characters that the audience has some emotional investment in, but not characters that most people would actually watch the show for. Alicia, Jenny, Tara etc
