I was really surprised about that too! I have heard that it’s very typical of young actors who are just starting trying out to end up regretting signing 6 year contracts for a tv show, and they decide that they want to do movies instead. That was a big issue with actors from teen shows like The O.C, Roswell, Gossip Girl, and I suppose it doesn’t help that those are generally shows that aren’t particularly highly thought of in the industry either. But I wouldn’t have guessed that was going on with the Angel actors, Alexis especially was getting so much meaty material that Wesley was surely an actors dream role, but that was what was said anyway, that most of them were frustrated after the first couple of years and were getting restless to do something else
