Redux pt. 1 is just terrible. It's Chris Carter at his exposition-y worst, and that's really saying something.
The funny thing is that I didn't remember the pacing being that bad, because it's a two-parter I guess that the second half saves it in a lot of people's minds, but the first half is just *painful* to sit through
And I can definitely understand why Post-Modern Prometheus would be too squicky for some fans, it being so far from a traditional X-Files is what saves it for me. There is such little real world logic in it anyway that I just got kind of go with it as a storybook, but looking back it is odd how both this episode and Small Potatoes have that exact same ~whelp it all worked out okay in the end~ message
Folie a Deux is absolutely an underrated classic, and Bad Blood is probably one of my top five episodes.
:nods: Folie a Deux isn't an episode that you hear raved about as much, but for me it's definitely right up there with the greats
