I guess if I were ranking the episodes from what I liked best to what I liked least, it would probably be 3,2,4,1,6,5. But honestly, episode 3 is head and shoulders above any of the others (and 2 and 4 are basically interchangeable to me) and everything else is okay to awful.
When they first announced that they would be doing mythology episodes for S10, I was kind of disappointed. I was hoping it would be six MOTW episodes. And I say that as someone who LOVED the mythology episodes in the first five seasons. But sometime after the first movie, and certainly by S8, Carter lost sight of how the conspiracies fit together and just started throwing everything he could think of into the mix (supersoldiers wtf) until it was completely incomprehensible.
Ending on a cliffhanger without knowing when or even if the show is going to come back at all is just...ugh. If there is a Season 11 (and I'm sure there will be), my one wish would be for Chris Carter to leave the writing to someone else.
