Huh that's odd to me as they revealed Krycek to be a mole at the end of the very episode where he first appeared! I could understand if he had been around for a couple of episodes before then, but surely people must have realised that there was no chance of him being Mulder's new partner on a permanent basis when he was working for the CSM? I was never really involved in the X-Files fandom though, so I missed all of the dramas!
