The more the show delves into the code the weirder I find the whole thing, and I'm never sure how we're actually supposed to take it. I just think it's really fucked up that Harry separated Dexter from his brother and never took him to any kind of therapy after the brutal death of his mother, but I get the feeling that the show wants us to see his character more ambiguously and to believe that Dexter was destined to have the urge to kill no matter what? Harry just gives me an icky feeling when he seems to take for granted that Dexter is a 'monster' and that there's no other way to treat him
