Heh the only thing that would have made it better would be if Matt had joined The Originals as well :P I wasn't a fan of his relationship with Rebecka on TvD, but I wouldn't have protested if they had decided to have him join her on the spin-off. Oh well
The ratings for the premiere didn't seem all that outstanding (a 0.9 in the demo), so I'm just hoping that it doesn't drop too badly when they lose TvD lead-in. But then I guess that anything is good for the CW these days, so they'll probably renew it for at least one more season no matter if the ratings drop or not...
