One of the main arguments re: abortion is the notion of a woman's right to autonomy over her own body (and note that she goes to two MEN, who get to voice the opposite sides of the issue. No woman gets a voice here.)
Joss solution? Violate Buffy's bodily autonomy re: the robot. Joss and DH once again demonstrate their discomfort with women's bodies at a really fundamental level.
