Calling an eleven year old the "demon seed". Wtf? Clark was so great and compassionate with the little girl though aww :D
The first time I started disliking Lois was in Pariah when she was screeching all over the place, and being so horribly cruel and obnoxious with Alicia and Clark. So definitely not loving Lois in this one. At least she admitted she behaved horribly to the little girl I suppose, but then she will be nasty and rude with people next episode again I'm sure.
When Lois was actually written as going somewhere (Crusade-Devoted) I liked her fine. I no longer buy when they try and force motivation and skill on Lois though. I can't believe she got handed the job as Chief of Staff to a State Senator like that. Oh please, why does Lois never earn the jobs the Kent's or Lex just hand to her? Martha saying that Lois clearly has a destiny to do more than serve coffee was another one of those ridiculous Superman anvils which made no sense in terms of Smallville's Lois. I mean when has she shown the ambition to want to better herself? She threw away her chances of college, and she seems happy enough working at The Talon.
And I thought it was Lionel's money that saved Jonathon's campaign? He arranges for "us" to win the election, because he wants a say in matters, right? If it was just down to Lois, they would have spend all of their funds and been forced to drop out of the race. I'm not saying Lois did horribly there, but I'd hardly count it as her success, considering it was Lionel who resolved for Jonathon to win and used his money to fund it (as well as working against Lex). I don't feel Lois had all that much to do with the victory. Not that I'm biased or anything :P
The Chloe/Lex snarking was pretty cool. I sort of take both of their sides. It was nice to see Lex not having the patience for people storming in to the mansion with accusations any more. It got so bitchy towards the end with Chloe saying no way would Lana be interested in you, and Lex making fun of Chloe's lack of bf. Chloe practically ran out of the room aww. *still seeing zero Chlex sexual attraction*
Lex is so sexy when he's bad. Mmmm *hopes hopes hopes to see animated icons of the Lexana kiss* Lana was kind of tactless though, when saying about as if there could be anything more between us than friendship. Considering Lex has tried to kiss her several times, one very recently (Reckoning). It's been clear for a while now that Lex wants more, so really Lana could have been rubbing salt in the wound there if she was seriously lol as if there could be an us. But she kissed him in the end, so all's well *g*
The build-up to it as well! And the rising music! And Lex's evil smile of triumph! Yay!
Every episode ending has featured Lana recently. Whether Clark/Lana or Lana/Lex. Hmm
And new Doctor Who tomorrow :D
