Apparently the deleted scene from Scare would have had Lex marrying his mother, and the lexana sides were put out to throw people off. They rehired the Lillian actress and filmed it. Hmm, I guess after Bound they really were going with the Lex wanting to be with his mother. Maybe the network stepped in?

Hee, so much for fan speculation that it was changed because TPTB responded to the Lexana outrage :p

Ha! I'd wondered about that, because I saw a commercial for the DVDs that had a shot of the wedding scene in it and I was like, "No those bitches didn't put the Lexana dream of horror on the DVD!"

I'm thinking the network were uncomfortable after Bound and stepped in, hence the last minute decision to use the hourglass footage in Scare. It's a shame because it was a good fake-out with everyone thinking it was lexana, plus it would have been fun to see Lillian again.

Yeah, I thought it was weird that they actually seemed to LISTEN to us for once. Something just didn't compute.

I know! I'm hoping some kind soul will get the deleted scenes on line for those of us who aren't getting the DVDs :p

I do love the smell of vindication in the morning. I honestly reacted to the whole thing with "it's just a TV show, chill." It's not like it being Lana would have been the end of the world it felt like people thought it was, after all, let alone the truth...

I was the same with Onyx *g* All some people were talking about was that there would be a lexana kiss, and forgetting all the other great stuff the episode would have to offer. Why let Lana ruin the experience?

Because according to some people in this fandom, Lana makes everything bad. No I'm not even close to kidding. There are people who seriously don't want her on the show at all or in scenes or there, period. And one second of Lana is enough to ruin the show for them.

I tend to think these people need lives.
