iZombie's fourth season is now confirmed!

'Black Lightning,' 'Life Sentence' Land CW Series Pickups; 'Originals,' 'iZombie' Renewed

The CW has firmed up the rest of its 2017-18 schedule, handing out renewals to bubble shows The Originals and iZombie, while also handing out series pickups to DC Comics drama Black Lightning and dramedy Life Sentence.

I'm thrilled about iZombie of course :D And I'm not surprised that The Originals has been picked up as well, a lot of people seemed to be assuming that it was as good as cancelled, but I always thought that the CW would want to transfer some TVD characters over to it and keep that franchise going.

I want to see Black Lightening too. Sounds so good. I am also looking forward to Ghosted which is X-Files'y. Also the Dynasty remake.

I quit The Original a season or 2 ago. It bored me.

I am SUPER surprised about that. Especially since some of the actors - including Joseph Morgan - were cast for something else already, which - to me - was a strong hint that The Originals would be ending too. And the ratings suck as well, so yes, I AM surprised about it. But I guess they have to recast Joseph for that new role now, unless he can do both, but I doubt that... ;-)

Happy about both, which I'm surprised about because I wasn't happy with The Originals at the end of last season. I am surprised about its renewal since some of the actors were getting other jobs.

I have so much to catch up to on iZombie. I didn't even know there was a third season... I think I'm somewhere by the end of the second... It says a lot, huh?

I love The Originals but thought season 3 was dragging and I had a harder time with that one. Not too sure why because the story was still kinda good... just... as a whole felt really different. IDK. I haven't started watching season 4 yet, to be honest but I will. I'm just marathoning my Alias DVDs at the moment. Possibly season 5 would be the last? We'll see.

Really happy for both shows, but especially the originals. I kept seeing comments from people saying it was definitely done this year, but I figured they weren't going to just cancel it the same year TVD ended. I can see it possibly going for a couple more years - which is good bc I'm not ready to say goodbye to the Mikaelsons yet.
