Heya - I've seen you around for years, I think, and we have mutual friends. I talk a lot about real life but would love to share some XF love with someone else so would you care to be friends? Or at least to try and see if we would work as friends? :)
Heya - I don't really post about many fandom things (though the occasional desire to talk about the shows I love - XF being one of them; I need people to share this with!) but I'd love to meet more people who do... but who'd also like to become friends friends. Interested in giving it a go?
Heya Andy - I tend to post mostly about RL but often like to talk about shows (and want to talk about how excited I am about the return of the show [it's gonna be awful, isn't it?]) Anyway, I'd like to try being friends if you're up for it.
I used to love young Krycek. He made my pre-teen heart flutter!
I'm in such a denial about the return of the show. D: I was like: you know, it wouldn't be too horrible if *lists ten thousand things, 99% gets denied soon enough* and now I'm in denial mostly XD
Still, let's face it, I'm so gonna watch it. And complain all over the place.
I'm totally up for trying out being friends :D
And young Alex was most adorable thing, your pre-teen self had some good taste! XD
I thought that a friending meme would be a good idea so that those of us still on LJ can find one another now that we have new episodes coming :)
I'm just relieved that it seems to have taken off now! This is my first time trying to host a friending meme and I wasn't sure what to expect, so I was a bit nervous about it flopping on the first day when only one other person responded all day eek
I like how this is a valid way to describe age in fandom, by which shows one watched, when it first aired. ;) I admit I watched X-Files, when it first aired in Poland, but then again I was a pretty young kid then too (and loved the show). :)
Name: Elisabetta. But the majority of the people calls me either Eli or Betta. Age:31. Favourite season(s) of The X-Files: season 2 and 3, definitely. (I admit being partial also the the "virtual", non-complitely canon even if Carter worked on them, comic book season of X-Files). Favourite episodes of The X-Files:clyde bruckman's final response, post-modern prometheus, and my favorite, the host- it game me nightmares and it made me thrilled about the show. (I think it's the first episode I saw of the show back then..) Any favourite characters or ships: gotta admit that I shipped Mulder and Scully like Crazy right from the start. and I was a child only back in the day I watched season 2. But I also had a strange thing for Skinner/Scully and John Fitzgerald Byers/Scully.
Any other fandoms: Mostly, the mentalist. Stargate sg-1 and Atlantis, Marvel (both cinematic and comic books), Midsomer Murders, Outlander, Haven. Doctor Who. What do you usually post in your journal: anyhting, from do-it-yourself stuff I put together to random thoughts when I'm a bit hormonal and/or frustarted, links to things I write, review of things I've seen/listened to/read. Friending policy:I like to have at least one or two things in common with my friends. Anything else:As I said, I really don't mind the last two comic book seasons of the show, mostly because, maybe because of Carter's involvement, they remembered me of the shows. And because they took things said in the shows and should have been resolved and never were properly (Flukeman. I loved him. I did.) I'm not such a pourist to say I didn't see I want to believe, 'cause I got it in DVD and I watch it at least twice or three times a year, but, well, let's say it's more a"lifted eyebrows" sort of things. a bit like season 7 and the last one, when I watched it and wondered it it really was the same show that used to keep me up at night because it gave me the creeps...
I also like HTGAWM, In the Flesh and Generation Kill (I still have to catch up with Grimm and Suits, though). I looked at the list you linked and we share other also fandoms: Whitechapel, Looking, Primeval, PotC, Eureka, Star Trek, Terra Nova and some more :D)
