People who hate reminded me of the KKK and the majority of these haters happen to be Chloisers, Chlarkers, etc

A sense of perspective. Get one

Petty fandom drama Vs Actual historical atrocities. I *think* there might be a pretty big distinction there, but who even cares to tell any more

Has anyone asked them if they've been, oh, I don't know, lynched or had their homes and churches burned down or members of their families shot...

That is seriously offensive. Throwing fandom shit at each other like crazy monkeys is one thing, but like you said, there's a line that you just don't cross. I remember reading about something similar happening in HP fandom when one ship compared their place in fandom to slavery. The mind truly boggles.

All the arguing is just getting embarrassing for everyone so I'm not even touching the post in question, but yes people have brought up what the KKK has done, and asked if it's fair to make the comparison with hating a fictional character. Apparently so

Another group that is Hateful just so happens to be the KKK. I am saying those people who are hating are just as bad as them.

Someone should really definite for her the difference between hating a fictional character and lynching a human being.

Eh, they're so crazy, they wouldn't believe it anyway. Better to just walk away.
