For the most part, I'm the same. For Season 1, I would replace Out of Mind with Nightmares as I liked the psychological aspect of that (reminded me of Restless). Season 2 is impossible to pick from for me but the ones you picked look good to me (although I'd add What's My Line in for a tie). I'm not a fan of The Wish and Doppelgangland, so personally I'd replace them with the two part Graduation Day. For Season 4, I'd put Hush as #2 and replace Pangs with Primevial. Once More With Feeling definitely is #1 and I'd replace Life Serial with Grave. And for Season 7, I'd replace Selfless with Chosen. Of course, these are all my opinions.

The whole list just reminds me how awesome BtVS was.

Oh I really liked Nightmares as well, it was in my original top five, then it got bumped for The Puppet Show *g*

I wasn't a big fan of Grave to be honest. Two To Go and Grave would be near the bottom for my season 6 picks :P

Tabula Rasa was one of my favorites from season six--so much fun. I pretty much agree with this list...but there were very few episodes of Buffy I didn't like ;)

Tabula Rasa was another that was in my top five originally. Then I bumped it for Normal Again...

I'm almost in complete agreement with you with the exception of season 2 - I have an insane obsession with I Only Have Eyes For You. Amen to #1 in seasons 1, 4, 5, 6, and definitely 7. It's nice to know I'm not the only person who ranks the episodes like this - people always call me on the weird episodes I throw into my lists LOL

I think my list is mostly pretty boring. All the accepted classics are at the top. I wonder if there's anyone out there who would go for Gingerbread as best season 3 episode, or Some Assembly Required for season 2 *g*

I've always wanted to ask this: What episode is Dead Things? I've seen almost every Buffy ep (I missed several in S7), but I never really learned the episode titles.

It was a season 6 episode (by Steven DeKnight!) It had the Trio try to date-rape Katrina, and it ends with Warren killing her.

S1 - nightmares, the witch, prophecy girl, welcome to the hellmouth/harvest

s2 - halloween, school hard, surprise/innocence, becomming 1/2

s3 - Dead man's party, the wish, band candy, the prom, dopplegangland

s4 - just starting to rewatch that season... I think fear, itself; primevil, restless... not sure about the rest...

s5 - the gift, the body, weight of the world, unsure of the rest... tough call because it was a great season

s6 - can I just list the one's that weren't my favorite? it'd be easier.

s7 - chosen, showtime, need to rewatch, I'm kind of fuzzy on the episode names.

Why is Hush only fifth in its season? I would put it at the top.

Objectively I think that Hush was probably the best season 4 episode, along with Restless. But I just love rewatching Pangs, and the Faith two-parter. They're my personal favourites, so I had to put them ahead *g* Although, looking at my list again, maybe Hush could have gone in fourth place, and ahead of This Years Girl..

Good taste, although for me I'd probably have chosen in that list too (even if I ignore that kiss.) but I agree with most of it :P
