Doomsday! I now like Ten much more, and he didn't annoy me once in either of the past two episodes :D DT was great! And I started my crying when Pete and Jackie were reunited. "There's never been anyone else". And as it was Rose's last episode, I kept biting my nails and hoping that Jackie and Mickey would make it *big sigh of relief*
Did anyone else find it a bit cheesy though, when Rose was being sucked into the void, and she and the Doctor were yelling dramatically. I was panicking over Rose ending up in the void, but sniggering at the same time. It was a bit over the top, no?
I first thought the ending was supposed to be Rose being a bit mad and haunted by The Doctor. He was supposed to be sealed off from her for good after all. But then it turns out she was right, and he wanted to say goodbye. But no touching. (Wasn't there supposed to be a Rose/Ten kiss though? I was sort of waiting for that). Billie Piper's crying just killed me in that scene. And "quite right too" aww
Anyway, the main thing for me is that I now like the Tenth Doctor, and the final scene has me really looking forward to the Xmas special. So I'm pleased
"What? What? What?" Heehee

It was great when they were reunited, heeeee! and she's pregnant! even though he's from a different reality he's still her man! ohh I'm such a pete/Jackie shipper lol
LOL cheese is doctor who's middle name, they had people in crappy alien costumes in the old series which makes me LOL, but still you do get the cheesy overdramatic but entertaining scene in doctor who :P But I love it.
LOL "what?" that was great.

"No, You identify yourself!"
"No, You identify yourself!"
"DALEKS DO NOT TAKE OR-DERS!"
"You have identified as Dalek"

It wasn't made explicit but I'm convinved the Dr made all that effort to say a proper goodbye to Rose because he knew how the lack of one held back and hurt Sarah Jane, and they has such a wonderful goodbye when they finally did it.

I bet there's at least one episode with Rose next year, or at least a Billie guest appearance in someway, even if she doesn't play "our Rose"

everythings sinking in just now, ohh I'll miss her so much, I'm getting teary.

Yes, but I was willing her in. :)

I was kind of surprised that none of them died. Not that I wanted Jackie or Mickey to die! But considering Rose is gone for good, and they won't be reappearing, it seemed that killing off some of them could have been very effective
I will say that IMO the Daleks weren't scary in this season ender at all. "You are better at one thing. Dying". Lol!
And I was secretly hoping for a surprise appearance from Captain Jack

You have good taste in television, by the way, in case I hadn't said that before :)

AoG had me hoping that Jackie might become a companion. She plays off the Doctor really well, and it would be a nice change from the Rose/Doctor dynamic, for him to be around someone that mostly gets on his nerves

Bridezilla scares me. I'm glad it's only a one-episode deal. I'm curious what the dynamic with the new companion will be.

Maybe the Bride (aka "Am I bovvered?") will be so hideous, that we'll all gladly welcome the new companion *g* I sometimes wondered if they were doing that with Rose's characterisation this season, intentionally writing her as obnoxious at times, so that she would be less missed than last seasons Rose would have been.

I totally agree and think Rose was purposely obnoxious at many points this season, and I have to say, Billie Piper did an excellent job with everything she was given. Not a single complaint. I don't think it was accidental. I mean, look at things like "School Reunion" when Mickey asked if he could go, how she rolled her eyes. That's totally direction.
GITF WAS a great episode, wasn't it? And yeah, Doctor/Madame du Pompadour didn't bother me at all, oddly enough. I kind of wished she could come along.
I think my favorite episode this year was School Reunion. I love Sarah Jane Smith and the way they updated her dynamic while staying true and honest to the original series really impressed me.

There was speculation about Rose and Ten's arrogance leading up to something at the end of the year, but it really didn't seem too. I mean they got separated, but not as a consequence of their prior attitudes or anything. Hmm

Yes, i also thought it was cheesy that Pete saved her a second before she was, cause, wouldn't both have been pulled in?
(Wasn't there supposed to be a Rose/Ten kiss though? I was sort of waiting for that).
DT(it was DT, yeah?) said two kisses, i thought the second was the helmet one.

Ooh okay *uses appropriate icon* :D

It seems one of the Daleks was JAST (Jackie's full initials)

They mentioned her full name because he got it wrong in Fathers Day at the wedding.

i LOVED the Daleks Vs. Cybermen, that was epic. i was a bit upset though that there was no Captain Jack. i was looking forward to seeing him all season. ah well, guess I'll have to wait for Torchwood.
