Aww yeah, I know that you really like Enzo :( I did like him when they first introduced him in the flashbacks, even when he first came back in the present-day scenes too, I guess that once him and Damon became such great pals was when it started to feel kind of overkill to me. If it's any consolation I do feel similarly to you about Alaric though *g*

And I would feel differently if it was a case of Damon going off the rails and Stefan giving up on him, but it just seems kind of harsh for Enzo to give Stefan a hard time for giving up by accepting that his brother is dead. It came across like Stefan did look into ways of bringing his brother back at first, but eventually gave up after running into dead end after dead end. Even Elena, in having her memories taken from her, is also giving up on ever having Damon in her life again, so it seems like both Stefan and Elena have had to force themselves to let go and move on because Damon isn't coming back as far as they know
