And The 8 Worst Characters On Television

What makes a character the “worst” isn’t necessarily their amoral actions or behavior (some of our favorite characters walk a very thin line between good and evil). They could be the most self-righteous and moral character ever, but still annoy the ever-living shit out of us. Worst characters are those whose screentime we want depleted immediately because they’re just so unlikable, despite the writers best attempts at getting us to root for them.

The only character I'm familiar with from that list is Chuck Bass, and he should be #1 in my eyes. Who else would you nominate for your worst character? At the ONTD discussion post Xander Harris got quite a few nominations lol

ETA Gah has anyone got a recommendation for a good spyware removal program? My comp suddenly seems to be riddled with pop-ups and weird links,and everything is running so slowly

My worst characters would include Monica Hayward from Republic of Doyle. She is the one time the show has ever disappointed me so there is a lot of hate going there, even though she didn't serve much purpose (shady character that flirted with the main character, yada yada yada). Also on my list is Leonard from TBBT. Face it, when you make Howard seem less of a sleazeball you're doing things wrong. I seethe when he comes on my screen.

As for spyware I really like Spybot S&D.

I really dislike Leonard's relationship with Penny. He doesn't seem to view her intelligence very highly, ie when he rewrote her paper secretly, so it it just makes his reasons for dating her appear really cynical. And he's so clingy and needy with that whiny voice good grief

He's the typical Nice Guy, I'm so nice to her why doesn't she want/love me? Gross.

Haven't seen the other show *g*

It's a Canadian show, and I really adore it but the one fault it had in its four seasons was the addition of this character. That said, despite her shadiness and the way things went, she seemed really cool at first so we did get that. It's on Alibi. :D
