Andy Hallett is dead :/

Andy Hallett, who starred as Lorne ("the Host") on the TV series Angel, died of heart failure last night at age 33, according to his longtime agent and friend Pat Brady. The actor passed away at Cedars-Sinai Hospital after a five-year battle with heart disease, with his father Dave Hallett by his side

My sister was sad when I told her, I think pretty much everyone loved Lorne :/

This is so sad. He always seemed like such a nice guy and was one of my favorite actors on the show. This is such a shame, he was so young.

Yeah I always heard really nice things about him from people who saw him at conventions

Wow. I loved Lorne from Angel and will miss Andy Hallett. I can't believe he died at such a young age. He'll be missed.

I never realised how young he was. Or the fact he'd been ill for so long, he always came across as so chipper. :(

I didn't either, I'd heard something about him missing a convention because of illness a few years ago, and people were worried then because it must have been pretty serious for him to not turn up for the fans like that. But I had no idea how bad it was :/

He was only about my age (which mind you is pretty old). Poor guy.
