I'm using my first American Gothic icons :D Kelex made them.

I know I'm the only person who ships Lucas/Selena more than Lucas/Gail, but that's okay *g*

I never did care for the Lucas/Gail pairing. When I orignally saw it I thought it came out of no where. Possibly because I missed an episode or two...and because I thought she really hated him and it wasn't UST.

I did like Lucas/Gail all right. But sometimes she was a bit simpering and annoying.

Selena was way cooler, and she was a better match for Lucas. They could be evil and scheme together. I know Lucas loved Gail, not Selena though *sigh*

God I hate the horrible little kid in that show.

Caleb was awesome! He grew up so hot too.

OMG! American Gothic!!! Squee!! I love that series. I bought the DVDs last summer, and during the fall, The Spouse and I watched the series every Monday night, regularly. LOVED IT - and The Spouse became addicted to it....

and please: I so can see Lucas/Selena --- but then, I never "got" Lucas/Gail....

Count me among the people who weren't really that crazy about Lucas/Gail. I, too, thought that Lucas was better with Selena.

I was totally for the whole Lucas/Gail. While I did enjoy Lucas' antics with Selena. I knew from the first the first time Lucas saw Gail in A Tree Grows In Trinity that he was in love with her and his actions in The Plague Sower proved it.

Huh, it seems more people prefer Lucas/Selena than I thought *g* It's not that Lucas/Gail doesn't appeal to me either. I just..Lucas/Selena seemed like they would be the happier couple and be able to give one another what they need.

Lucas/Gail were more of an opposites attract type of thing. She hated herself for being with Lucas, was trying to leave him. Needed reassurance that he didn't rape Caleb's mother etc.

Well not that Selena was exactly happy and stable with Lucas I suppose...

The show certainly promoted Lucas/Gail a lot more. But just that scene with Selena dripping the hot wax on Lucas *breathes heavily* Selena was just sexier and cooler than Gail IMO.

Too bad I've never found any fan fic for this show

Lucas definitely loved Gail the most. He had like no respect for Selena. I just kinda wish that he had *g*

Actually I quite liked Lucas/Selena, they were my first evil pairing that I ever really thought, I wouldn't mind them ending up together about. I didn't mind Lucas/Gail either, but I had a bit of a crush on Paige Turco back then.

Also, Selena totally reminded me of Catwoman and not because of her name.

There is a strong resemblance *g*

At the time I was always torn between L/G and L/S. L/G felt like the pairing I should be rooting for, and I could certainly see the appeal when they first made love etc So it's not so much a case of me hating one pair/loving the other.

It's only just now really I've finally decided that L/S is definitely my ship :D

He was a horrible little bastard. Reminded me of the sort of kid that always tried to bully me when I was a kid. Horrible nasty little brute. Spiteful expression, nasty way of saying everything, bitter angry manner, etc. You could tell there was something seriously not right about the little shite. And the way he talked... eeuugh -nightmarish. Barf. Lotsa barf.
