3. Yep. It used to be something I struggled with more, especially if I was really attached to the characters, but I’ve become a lot more demanding these days when it comes to tv entertaining me. You kind of have to be when there’s just so much content out there to watch, I really don’t have the patience any more to continue sitting through a show that I’ve lost interest in, not when my to-watch list is growing all the time
I recently quit watching iZombie, Wentworth, Empire, and Doctor Who, none of which were particularly dramatic ~break-ups~, but just shows where I found myself needing to play on my phone more and more because I was bored paying attention to the episodes.
I also quit Torchwood and Misfits after the cast changes. I stuck with Misfits for the first three seasons, including the one where Nathan was replaced by Ruby, but there were just too many changes with season 4 to be losing Simon, Kelly, and Alisha, it had already lost its original feel for me after Nathan left tbh. And similarly with Torchwood I begrudgingly stuck around for Children Of Earth after Tosh and Owen were killed off, but then losing Ianto as well was just too much, it no longer resembled the original show
4. My comfort show would be anything light I guess, sitcoms especially I could sit and bingewatch for hours, particularly Friends and The Big Bang Theory. Also the early seasons of Gilmore Girls very much have that feel for me as well
