Oh I agree with you there, I do think the way that the pregnancy was handled was pretty horrible, but I think it’s more fan lore that Charisma was fired purely for getting pregnant. I remember there were already rumours floating around about whether the ascension was a way of writing her out at the end of season 3, so I think that season 4 was originally intended as her exist regardless.

David Greenwalt seemed to be the only one who really loved Cordelia’s character and was championing her, once he left it sadly didn’t like any of the remaining Ats writers cared about Cordelia half as much as they did about Fred.
