The Originals is one of those shows that I always feel like I should love, but I can't seem to get into. Originally I couldn't get past the pilot episode, mostly because I was pretty much already over those characters on TVD by then quite honestly. I loved Elijah in the beginning, but as time went on I started to find him more and more pompous and full of himself, and well I was never crazy about Klaus. Later I tried watching the cross-over episode in season 7, but I just got confused by what was going on lol. But I do love vampire shows, so I'm sure I can get into it if I sit down and watch more than one episode and give it a proper chance, everything I read on my flist makes it sound like a show that I should be really into

And with all the talk of how badass the new female villain on TVD would be, I was honestly expecting way more :( The only impressive part of Sybil was when she first climbed up, ever since then she just feels like any other generic TVD villain to me, and even her backstory was pretty boring and seen it all before. Much like Julian from season 7, I'm just impatiently waiting for the writers to kill her off already
