Yeah I'm nearly always excited for time-jumps, it feels like it gives the show a chance to really shake things up with the characters and introduce totally new dynamics. Plus it would probably be kind of a bummer to open season 7 immediately after Damon and everyone are still in the immediate mourning period for Elena
