I appreciate Band Candy more now, but heh at the time I was really surprised that it was regarded as a classic episode of Buffy, I was so annoyed with the portrayal of the adults all without fail turning into a bunch of mindless idiots. It seemed so exaggerated and unfair, but then maybe it annoyed me more on first viewing because I was an actual teenager at the time *g*
